The Mærsk Tower isa new research complex in Copenhagen. The tower is located in the middle of theSUND Nature Park, a completely new city park in Nørrebro, designed by SLA. Thenature park is a new type of modern campus park that supports and strengthensthe good study and research life while providing a wide range of natural,functional and social values to the surrounding city.

原生牧区的新机遇 The Græsningsfælled restored

With its hawthorns,meadows and oak trees, SUND Nature Park rehabilitates Copenhagen's old publicGræsningsfælled (Grass Common), which until the 1840sstretched all the way from the countryside to Sankt. Hans Torv. At the same time, the nature park has been suppliedwith a large number of exotic tree species with different cultural andbiological origins - as an homage to the multicultural Nørrebro.

The lush citynature of SUND Nature Park offers many different breathing spaces for outdoorstudies, reading groups and discussions for both students and researchers. Butthese breathing spaces are not just for the university - all citizens andvisitors are welcomed to use and enjoy the new green surroundings: From casual relaxation on the lush green edges, over play onthe fields, to picnics in the 'secret' oases in wild nature with benches andtables. The possibilities are many.
可持续性和气候适应Sustainability and climate adaptation as a resource

SUND Nature Park isstate-of-the-art in terms of sustainability and climate adaptation. The entire naturepark is designed to handle even the most extreme cloudbursts – the so-called 100-year events – without the surrounding buildingsor roads being flooded. Thus, all rainwater from park, buildings and greenroofs is collected and naturally cleansed in natural rainbeds as well as in large underground reservoirs from where it is recycled for irrigationin the park and for toilet water in the building. Finally, the nature park isalso adapted to Copenhagen's world-renowned cycling culture through innovativecycling solutions – including an underground bicycle parking basement withspace for 1,000 bikes.

With SLA's design,SUND Nature Park has become a new social and natural gathering point forresearchers, students and citizens in Nørrebro. It is a new type of park inCopenhagen, which supports world-leading health science research; while also strengtheningthe city's sustainability and opportunities for good nature experiences forall.
盛名享誉国内外Nationally andinternationally honored
