布谷鸟小屋（CuckooHouse）是位于越南岘港的一间小型别墅，它可容纳4人（父母和2个孩子）并附有咖啡厅；由TropicalSpace工作室在2018年设计完成。 The Cuckoo House is a house for 4 people(parents and 2 kids) combining with a coffee shop located in Da Nang, Vietnamand designed by Tropical Space in 2018.
夜色中它的光线温暖，整体基调呈现出更为天然而质朴的古色
该项目的主要材料选取当地粘土砖——这一材质的使用为住户带来了亲切而熟悉的感觉；与此同时，从布谷鸟钟表中汲取灵感后使得它呈现出独树一帜的建筑形状。 The project is built by the local clay brickwhich brings a familiar feeling to the user and has the architectural shapereminding about the Cuckoo Clock.
布谷鸟小屋空间可大体分为上下双层，以一种叠积式结构呈现，在使用上具备高度的灵活性和可达性
布谷鸟小屋的主要空间结构包括由缓冲层在内的，彼此贯通连接的三个不同的空间体块。这些空间体块被安置于另一个单独的基础结构的矩形体块上。该基本体块的空间功能便是带有花园的咖啡店，作为室外区域和室内空间的联结处。 The Cuckoo house includes three blocks whichis connected by the buffer layers. These blocks place on another rectangularblock which is function as a base. This base block is the coffee shop with thegarden as outdoor area and the indoor space.
恰到好处的廊隙和开阔半椭的窗门，为住户提供更宽广的视野和更舒适的体验
而坐落于基础结构之上的三个体块作为房屋的独立功能空间，同时由半覆盖状的缓冲层紧紧相连，这一设计在整体视觉上起到了一种似分非分似离非离的微妙形态，在保证外观结构的高度统一性的同时亦创造了极具灵活度的内部空间。 Three blocks above are separated functionalspaces of the house and linked by the buffer layers which is un-fully covered.
夜幕下它如休憩的鸟儿，不同于白日的欢鸣，颇显安谧温和的气质
A座是主卧室，包括上下两层结构；上层是卧室，下层是浴室和步入式衣柜；B座同时包含两层，顶层是为孩子们设计的卧室，而下层则是客厅； C座空间则是厨房和餐厅。 Block A is the master bedroom including twofloors. The upper floor is the bedroom and the other one is bathroom andwalk-in closet；Block B also has two floors. The upper flooris the kids’ bedroom and the bellow is the living room；Block Caccommodates the kitchen and dining table.
布谷鸟小屋的室内设计选取和室外彼此呼应的色调和材质，呈现从里到外的高度和谐性
窗棂的镂空设计是现代美学的极致体现，于室内空间中创造出别具一格的光影变幻
就像被养成的习惯一样，大多数人们的日常活动通常在功能性空间之中完成，而Tropical Space工作室特立独行，选择将用来定义位置的墙壁分离，并提供缓冲空间以敦促人们离开房间聚于一起。 这些缓冲层具备高度地使用性，不仅可以连接建筑室内室外，亦可以满足家庭活动或私人享受或开放社交的需求； Like a habit, most of the people’s dailyactivities usually take place in functional spaces, Tropical Space detacheswalls that are used to define the place and offer the buffer space to urgepeople to leave their rooms and join together. These buffer layers can be usedflexibly, connecting the indoor and the outdoor of the house which could make thefamily activities could be both private and open.
从不同空间体之间的间隙之中可望到和天空白云交织而成的奇妙风光
咖啡厅内，砖石材质和铁艺结构交相呼应，使整体设计兼具传统和现代的美学特质
布谷鸟小屋的中庭空间，结合绿植点缀，营造愈发闲适自在的生活氛围
与此同时，这座建筑的结构可以满足自然风无拘流通过内部的每处角落，这里因而成为热带夏天的清凉一隅。 Meanwhile, it allows the breeze to go throughall corners of the house and make it chill in the tropical summer.
