该项目位于大象湖湿地公园旁，后者的天然景观为这一项目设计提供了极大的灵感。华侨城·万科滨水之城的水上码头项目的整体设计理念，是将湿地的自然品质加入到人工项目之中，通过将建筑物和自然景观融合在一起的过程中，为人们创造独一无二的空间体验。

Theproject is located next to the Elephant Lake Wetland Park which informed andinspired the design. The design concept is to bring the natural qualities ofthe wetlands into the project, creating a spatial experience where the buildingand the landscape blend together.

水上码头的整体设计由水，土，天三个主要自然元素组成，分别对应项目的三个功能区域：正前广场，商业设施和观望塔。

Thedesign consists of three natural elements, water, earth and sky, correspondingto three functional areas: the front square, thecommercial facilities and the observation tower.

正前广场的景观设计与古老的南昌水文化和大象湖等自然景观完美地融为一体。每个景观节点都包含着针对不同年龄群体的需求而设计安置出来的使用功能，并为每一位游客提供趣味十足而印象深刻的空间体验。

Thelandscape design of the front square is integrated with the ancient waterculture of Nanchang and the landscape of the Elephant Lake. Each of thelandscape nodes contain functions for people of different ages and provideinteresting and memorable spatial experiences.

水上码头项目的建筑主体，通过使用连绵的曲线和波浪的形态语言，在三个不同的维度上构成了景观元素的延续；正前广场的景观穿过缓慢展开的露天圆顶剧场，在整座建筑三维空间的上方延伸铺陈。

Themain body of the building forms a continuation of the landscape elements inthree dimensions through the language of stretched curves and waves. Thelandscape of the front square extends above the three-dimensional space of thearchitecture, through a slowly unfolding outdoor amphitheatre.

人们可以从建筑物的两侧进入屋顶花园，而屋顶下方空间是零星散布的小型零售和商业功能区间，它们与正前广场中丰富的户外活动空间紧密相连，为坐落于项目周边的社区带来了满满的活力。

Therooftop garden is accessible from both sides of the building. Underneath therooftop space are scattered retail and commercialfunctions, which are linked to the rich outdoor activity space in the frontplaza, bringing vitality to the community around the project.

公园对面的大象湖湿地尽头是该项目最大的亮点：那里耸立着一座形态独特的观景塔，它代表着未来生活的宏伟蓝图和这座城市的新兴精神。

Atthe end of the park facing Elephant Lake Wetlands stands the project's biggesthighlight: a viewing tower that represents the blueprint for future living andthe new spirit of the city.

南昌的塔楼历史悠久，譬如说江南三大著名古建之一的滕王阁，已经屹立了数千年的沉金塔，以及从眺望塔望出去时可以看到位于湿地公园中的万寿塔。

Nanchanghas a long tradition of towers, such as the Teng Wang Pavilion, one of thethree most famous buildings in Jiangnan, and the Shenjin Pagoda, which hasstood here for thousands of years, and when gazing out from the viewing towerone can see the Wanshou Pagoda, located in the wetland park.

观景塔是对于当地塔文化的一种具象化回应，并已成为代表南昌现代生活的全新地标建筑。

Theviewing tower responds to this local culture of towers and has itself become anew landmark, representing modern life in Nanchang.

双螺旋楼梯的设计提供了一种更为强大的功能，突破了只是简单地允许人们登上登下观景塔的使用限制——而这本身就是一个充满趣味的旅程：弯曲上升的形态，于登塔的过程中为人们提供辽远广阔而奇妙的远景。

The double spiral staircase serves agreater function than simply allowing one to get up and down from the viewingtower.It is an interesting journey in itself, curving around and providing wonderfulvistas along the way.

到达塔顶时，人们能够进入观景台，将其附近湿地的自然景观一览无余，不仅可以欣赏远处的城市轮廓和天际线，亦能够于日出和日落时体验天空不断变化的梦幻景观。

Whenreaching the top, one enters the observation deck, where people can get anunparalleled view of the natural landscape of the nearby wetlands, admire thecity skyline in the distance, and experience the changing landscape at sunriseand sunset.
