多边方体（PolyCuboid）是TIA——一家提供保险服务的公司——总部的全新大楼。

The PolyCuboid is the new headquarter building forTIA, a company that provides insurance services.

它的空间体积主要由三个长方体构筑交织组成，由此创造出不同的交叉点，空隙和空间单元；长方体们彼此重叠，互相叠加，提供了更为多样的空间秩序——包括内部和外部的露台，中庭，座位区以及清晰而丰富的功能性空间分布和连接；设计师刻意布置了一系列桥体从内部将这些长方体构筑连接起来，从而提供给人们一种极具动感的方式，概览这些各有千秋的不同空间。

The volume is composed of interlace of three majorcuboid shapes creating intersections, voids, and space units. The cuboidssuperposition across each other also allows a richer space syntax includinginterior and exterior terraces, an atrium, several seating spaces, and a clearyet richer functional distribution of spaces and connections. Bridges alsoconnect the cuboids from inside allowing a dynamic overview of the differentspaces.

建筑二楼布局的依据场地的限制和穿过场地的地下，直径700mm水管的位置；后者同时将目标地点的地基使用空间限至总土地面积的一半；设计师巧妙地对建筑的中央空间从三楼延伸至四楼，通过将楼层两侧的悬臂持续扩充，使建筑物的实用面积得以增加。

The first floor was shaped by the limits of the siteand a ø700mm water pipe that is crossing the siteunderground limiting foundation space to half the land area. The middle volumestretching from 2nd to 3rd floor extends in cantileverson both sides allowing the building to gain precious square meters.

从功能上来说，一楼主要由附带家具如六张私人书桌的接待室，会议厅，以及办公区占据；这一片工作区通过会议室，CEO办公室以及次级办公室从而形成连贯的空间语言，从而使功能分区的界限延伸至二楼。

Functionally, a furnished reception and meeting spacetogether with 6 private desks and an office space occupy the ground floor. Theworkspace continues the next level with a conference room, CEO’s room andsecond office space.

该楼层空间方面的考量而被划分为两个区域——如较低的楼层的空间功能主要是供人们作休息之用，包括厨房，朝向中庭和一处柜台空间的桌席露台。

This floor is separated into two areas by deferentfloor levels with the lower one dedicated to resting spaces including akitchen, a table terrace giving on the atrium and counter space.

第三和第四层则专门用于多样化的休闲娱乐，包括培训室，带屋顶露台的用餐区，甚至是面向中庭的钢琴房；楼梯以延展的姿态，沿着中庭从一楼向四楼一路而上——尽管它的最后一阶仅够到第三层。

The third and fourth floors are dedicated torecreation with various spaces such as training room, dining space with a roofterrace and even a piano space giving on the atrium. The staircase stretchesfrom 1st to 4th level along the Atrium, although this last only reaches thethird floor.

即便如此，同组成这座建筑的其余块体相比，长方体升降机的体量最大；同时它与其周围的白色覆盖层截然不同的高反射度黑色饰面在视觉效果上格外出挑。

The elevator block, however, is the highest cuboidvolume and was cladded in reflective black differently to the white cladding onall other volumes.

多变方体（ThePolyCuboid）这一建筑的金属结构，被巧妙溶解于它的组合物所处于的不同区域中——柱和梁在这一座建筑作品的空间语法中彻底消失；它投射出的是关于“物体”的另类印象，而与此同时，也消除了对于“建筑”的刻板印象。

The metallic structure of the building dissolves intothe diverse blocs of the composition. The pillars and beams vanish from the spacesyntax, projecting the impression of an object, while also eliminating that ofa building.

多变方体（ThePolyCuboid）的立体设计灵感来自于项目客户TIA公司的徽标——设计师以此作为垂足点，将建筑本身变成最能代表公司本身的巨大“标志”。

The volumetric design is inspired by TIA’s Logoturning the building itself into an icon representingthe company.
