ARN25号房屋位于葡萄牙的卡斯凯什（Cascais）市居民区；房屋所在的地块面积狭窄且规则，因其依地形而建的关系，小屋入口处和花园的水平高度之间呈现初一个缓坡。 Located in Cascais municipality, in apredominantly residential area, the house is set in a narrow and regular plotwith a slight slope between the entrance level and the garden level.

ARN25号房屋这一住宅建筑是一栋约270平方米的单户、半独立式房屋；它充分使用了既有地块所提供的可占地总面积，并以三面体的空间构型呈现出来。 The house, a single-family semi-detached house withabout 270sqm, occupies the total area allowed for the plot, resulting in avolume with three fronts.

ARN25号房屋建筑施工的原则，遵循其所坐落位置的自然地形的坡度，同时通过分层和天顶照明所形成空隙的衔接方式，进而对预先建造好的空间体积进行了巧妙地转化。 Construction follows the slope of the terrain andtransforms the pre-established volume through the differentiation of levels andthe articulation of voids built by the zenith lighting.
