设计工作室StudioToggle受到科威特非营利组织“努卡特”（音译；原名Nuqat）的邀请，为他们的 “2018年人力资本” 文化论坛打造一处户外空间。目标地点是科威特市新开放的谢赫·贾伯·艾哈迈德（Sheikh JaberAl-Ahmad）文化中心的户外广场。

Studio Toggle was invited by Nuqat, a non-profit organization based in Kuwait to createan outdoor space for their cultural forum “The HumanCapital 2018”. The location given was the outdoor plaza of the newly openedSheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre in Kuwait City.

灵光布帘展馆的设计源于对创造一种轻巧的、柔软的同时具有高度可延展性的空间的渴望和需求，该空间将提供给人们一种更新颖的使用和居住方式。

The design of the pavilion stemmed from adesire to create a lightweight, soft and malleable space habitable in novelways.

灵光布帘展馆将根据其将要开展的活动进行移植，或称之为“殖民化”——设计师对这些活动进行了分析，并将其拆解成为各项人体测量参数的具体组成。

The pavilion is meant to be colonised basedon the activities that it will accommodate. These activities were analysed andbroken down into its anthropometric parameters.

这些参数为各种空白处的分类法提供了数据支持。这些空隙分类能够符合计划的活动需求，并被映射到一个模块化的网格上；设计师通过使用可重复使用的建筑脚手架和由激光切割后的宜家窗帘，从而开发出一种技术含量较低，却十分经济高效的增量式模块化系统。

These parameters then informed the varioustaxonomies of voids that catered to the programmed activities and were mappedon to a modular grid. A low-tech, cost-efficient, incremental, modular systemwas developed using re-usable construction scaffolding and laser-cut IKEA drapes.

在堆叠窗帘上实行减法操作进而产生出来的空隙，可以被分类并承担各项活动的辅助或促成者的角色。

The voids created by the subtractiveoperations on the stacked drapes are taxonomized into activity facilitators andoccupied as such.

模块化3乘3米网格由建筑脚手架制成，宜家窗帘按照通过一系列参数算法后得出的精准图案进行切割和排列。高度和宽度的差异会促使人们以截然不同的方式，对空间做出回应，并更直观地将其“殖民化”。

A modular grid 3x3M grid is made fromconstruction scaffolding and IKEA drapes are cut and arranged in a patternderived from a parametric algorithm. The differences in height and width resultin people reacting to the spaces in different ways and colonizing itintuitively.

而到了夜晚，被点亮的凉亭改变了这一片区域的氛围，营造出动感十足的空间。

During the night, the lit pavilion changesits ambience and makes for a dynamic space.

光被用作雕塑性介质，增强了人们对网格和空间的感知；它构成并定义了人们与展馆互动的方式；另一方面，展馆代表了一个由实用主义和模块化网格系统整合而成的循环升级型栖息空间。

Light is used as a sculptural medium toelevate the perception of both the grid and space. It frames and defines theway the users engage with the pavilion. The pavilion represents an up cycledhabitat generated from a utilitarian and modular grid system.
