The most beautiful thing is to be in a chance encounter in the landscape. A river on a rainy day in Jiangnan is a dreamy scene - swayingand listening to the rain, waking up to catch the light, andwalking slightly and elegantly. 在苏州吴江区的善湾村，诗意栖息的⽥园村落沿着⽔岸徐徐展开。船坞酒店便坐落于这舒缓的空间⻛景中。建筑起伏的⿊⾊屋顶仿佛聚拢靠岸的乌篷船，时⽽宁静动⼈，时⽽宛转悠扬，成为⽔岸画卷的点睛之笔。

In the village of Shanwan in Wujiang District, Suzhou, thetranquillity of the idyllic town, the quiet expanse of the riverand the historical culture blend. The Boatyard Hotel is locatedin this languid spatial landscape. The rippling black-roofed buildings are like the crow-top boats gathered and docked onthe shore, sometimes melodious, sometimes serene and moving,becoming the finishing touch to the ink painting on the shore.

WJ STUDIO 万境设计在室内空间中更是赋予独特的节奏韵律与空间体验。当⼈们带着对⽥园⽔乡的憧憬来到这⾥时，殊不知⾃⼰早已成为这⻛景中的⼀部分。
WJ STUDIO is to give its indoor space rhyme and spatio temporal experience. When people come to this place longingfor the idyllic scenery of the water village, they do not know that they have already become a member of this scenery.

⽴体的空间⾥包容着⽣⻓、演变、交错的事物，⽽时间则像⼀条不断流淌前⾏的河流。⼈们所能捕捉到画⾯都是瞬时的⻛景⸺⾃然、光线、⽥野与⼈为的设计在时间和空间的交汇处相遇。
A three-dimensional space embraces things growing, evolving,and intersecting while time moves forward like a river. Theimages one captures in each moment are instantaneous landscapes - nature, fields, light and artificial design meet atthe intersection of space and time.

浮岛、枯⽊，在对岸漂浮摇曳，细数着过往的时间。酒店建筑物与周围的⾃然景观融合为⼀体。⾼ 低低的拱形屋顶形成聚落，如同⽔岸边聚拢停泊的⼀艘艘船只。
A floating island with a few dead trees stretches as if towelcome and detail the passage of time. The hotel building isintegrated with the surrounding natural landscape. The high and low arched roofs form a colony, just like the ships docked onthe waterfront of the rising mountains.

从⼊⼝⼤⻔进⼊，是⼀座微微拱起的栈桥与⼀叶停泊在侧的乌篷船。晴天，光线从穹顶的天井倾泻⽽下，随时光变化印刻在⽯板上。
When you turn around and enter, a slightly arched trestle bridgeand a crow-top boat are moored on the side. The light poursdown from the dome's skylight on a sunny day and is etched onthe stone slab with time.

若是遇⻅⾬天，⽔珠不断滴落在景⽯与乌蓬上，烟⾬江南独有的声⾊景象便在这⼀⽅天地间展现得淋漓尽致。
If it rains, the water droplets keep falling on the canopy, and thescenic rocks and Jiangnan's unique sound and colour arerevealed in this area alone.

经过栈桥，展开在眼前的是开阔宽⼴的落地⼤窗。⽔⾯沿着光滑的镜⾯⼤理⽯被引⼊⼤厅，⽽⼀席⽔波纹⻓凳则邀请着来着坐下静观内外的⽔光树影。
After passing the bridge, the large floor-to-ceiling windowsopen up the view. A bench with a carefully recessed waterpattern invites visitors to sit and watch the water, trees andclouds on the other side of the isolated island.

圆拱形的轮廓就像坐在乌篷船内望向⽔⾯，使⼈⼼⽆挂虑，暂时与纷扰的世界隔绝。
The circular outline is like sitting in a boat and looking out,empty of all things, free of distractions and temporarily insulated from the world's affairs.

接待岛台则特意隐藏在动线的背⾯，需要时回头即可寻得，对于空间始终不打扰，让位给浑然天成的景致。
The island is deliberately hidden in a dark place opposite thewindow, which can be found by looking back when needed. It isalways unobtrusive and undisturbed, giving way to natural elegance.

沿着⻓廊慢⾏，下沉式的咖啡书吧区使⼈与⽔⾯更为亲近。横向展开的空间与连续圆拱屋⾯就像⼀幅⻓的画卷，将清晨微光、夕阳⾦边⼀ 揽收。
When people Stroll along the promenade, the corridor is a placefor relaxation and a coffee and book bar. Like a long scroll, thehorizontal space and the arching roof take in the riverbankscenery one by one, with the morning light and sunset and theviewing bridge extending into the water.

柯布西耶的《⺟亲之家》作为收尾被置于空间的尽头，相像的瞰景窗台、江河湖海，以及漫溢的光影……时间与空间因这幅作品在此刻产⽣交汇，记忆中⺟亲与家的温馨藉由波光粼粼的⽔⾯浮涌⽽上。
Corbusier's "Mother's House" is the ending at the end of thespace. The similar overlooking bay window, river, lake and sea,and the overflowing light and shadow are intertwined in time and space at this moment, and the shimmering water surfacebrings up the warmth of mother and home in memory. ©张锡

居住在与⼤地相连的⾃然之中，内⼼也将同⽥野的⻛景⼀般宁静平和。⼀如船坞酒店⼊⼝“停靠之船”这⼀艺术造景以半沉⼊的状态所表达的⸺希望每⼀位到达这⾥的⼈都不再漂泊，⽽是安然居住。
When you live in nature, you are connected to the earth, andyour heart will be at peace and calm with the wind of the field.Just as the artistic creation of the "docked boat" in the hotel expresses a semi-submerged state - may everyone who arriveshere no longer wander and dwell in peace.

静区的客房同样安置了多层序列。从庭院，到卧室，再到汤池，空间在室外-室内-半室外的变化中层层递进。对着天光开放的下沉式汤池，随饮⼀杯清酒，舒适⾃在。
The guest rooms in the quiet area are also equipped with amulti-layer sequence. From the courtyard to the bedroom to thecollection, the space progresses from outside to inside and frominside to out.A sunken pool open to the sky's light, a cup of thinwine, at ease.

⾯对河岸的房间则将整幅⽔乡之景收纳尽净。俯⾝案⼏，落⽇余晖与树影波光牵引着⽆限畅想的思绪。
The room facing the riverbank offers a panoramic view of the waterfront. Leaning over the long case, people can enjoy thesunset with the shadow of trees and the light of waves.

所有的序列都打破了传统以往的空间轴线，从连续的统⼀变为跳跃⾏进，停顿、婉转、开放、含蓄，如同浅斟低唱，创造出柔和迷⼈的场景。
All this breaks the traditional spatial axis, not coherently, but ina leaping way, with pauses, turns, openings and subtleties, likea shallow singing, laying a gentle and charming scene.

从⼀层上⾏⾄⼆层的客房区，仿佛旅程中的⾼潮。光线从缝隙中透出，营造出“⼀线天”的室内景观。
The guest room area from the first floor to the second floor islike the climax of a journey, guiding the occupants upward withgreat interest. Light enters the reserved slits, creating a "line of sight" to the interior.

⼆层的客房保留了挑⾼的拱形穹顶，由作为缓冲区的⽞关进⼊⽔平布局的房间。开敞的落地窗将室外的景⾊容纳进室内，落座于窗前，⼀壶⼀器，⼀茶⼀⻝，⼼安⽽居，宁静⽣活。
The guest rooms on the second floor retain their high vaulted ceilings, buffered by a foyer, and then have a horizontal opening to the room layout. The tall and wide floor-to-ceiling windows are enough to incorporate the outdoor scenery into the interior. A seat in front of the window, a cup of tea, a pot of food, a vessel......a heart rests in peaceful living.

⼈⽣有如⾏驶⽔⾯的⼀只漫船，为⽣活与向往奔赴；⽽爱是归途，此时“船上的⽇⼦”，便是归回⽣命与居住的本质与意义。
Life is like a long boat, going for daily life and desire; love is the way back. At this moment, "the day on the boat" is to return to the essence of living and the deep meaning of the journey.
